The dispatching object is the switchboard room of the HES-10 in Irkutsk. Automation of the switchboard room is made using DC panel "MSA SHPT" of the 'Konvertor' factory ( http://convertor-power.ru ). The task of the dispatcher's panel is the inquiry of the SHPT using the ModBus protocol and visualization of the equipment states.
To implement the dispatcher's station it was selected the single-board computer of the PC-104 form factor 'DM&P SoC CPU Vortex86DX-800MHz' and Viewsonic va916 (19") display.
The scope of work includes the set of objectives: creating the firmware of the dispatcher's station, the configuration of data acquisition from the SHPT equipment and the creation of user interface.
The special runtime firmware of the dispatcher's station it was decided to do on the single board PC-104 computer in mind of the necessity to run the OpenSCADA system on limited resources, as well as to ensure the reliable operation in conditions of unpredictable power failure.
The runtime firmware was based on the 'OpenSCADA into programmable logic controller (PLC)' conception. During the implementation of this task the concept has been supplemented by a detailed description of the graphical user interface configuration of dispatcher's panel. During the pilot tests it was decided the replace the single-board computer with the compact computer of the NetTop class, because of its low performance in the graphic interface and the presence of a number of other problems in the single-board computer.
The total volume of data acquisition from SHPT on the ModBus/RTU protocol is 90 signals. Number of processed signals at the logical level is 17. In addition to standard handling it has been implemented the alarms word processing of SHPT, as well as signs of the keys error to generate alarms.
